Our friends at AIMEMENTORING.com spent nearly 20 years supporting young Indigenous people around the world in breaking through the educational glass ceiling. Despite their tremendous effort and resources, they came to realize that, while meaningful, their work wasn’t moving the needle as much as they had hoped.
As they analyzed their learnings over the years, they discovered that the central element they wanted to bring to the world was the lived experience of a relational economy—one rooted in connection, reciprocity, and mutual support. With this clarity, they decided to dedicate the next 10 years to making that vision a reality.
To establish a guiding principle for this work, Jack Manning Bancroft—a visionary leader with deep integrity—wrote a book to lay out the framework: “Hoodie Economics: Changing Our Systems to Value What Matters.” This serves as a blueprint for creating systems that prioritize connection, community, and the values that truly matter.
In theory, all of this sounds incredible—but to make it real, it needs to be tested. And testing an economic model requires a country. So, they created one: the IMAGI-NATION. Over the next 10 years, this visionary “nation” will serve as a living experiment where the principles of a relational economy are explored, refined, and fully lived.
Today we are inviting you to join MIRACLE Factory IMAGI-NATION.
The first mission of MIRACLE Factory IMAGI-NATION is to design the content principles, governance structures, and architectural layout for MIRACLE Factory Costa Rica, where the zoning and permits process is set to begin in just three months. This foundational work will shape the first permanent physical MIRACLE Factory and set the tone for all future projects in the network.
