Hello Thomas,

I see/read You thinking around something essential, which I have been thinking around almost daily since 2013 when I retired. Firs I was disgusted from what all was considered to be "money". Like a zoo with many different animals all labelled "money". No systematics recognizable. Then I started to look for something similar as the periodic system for the abundance of chemical elements. (Comming close.)

Thanks to archive.org and other sites I started to read, following cross-references in the books, findig things I wasnt searching for (bycatch).

("My") TwinToken is not money, but a type of information that is backed by services rendered in exchange for open payment. In other words, it is something that sellers and buyers can create by mutual agreement without needing a banking license. When this information is aggregated within a community and organized into a matrix, the sum of a participant’s columns shows what they owe the others in total, and the sum of the other participants’ columns shows what they owe the participant. If everyone places their debit balance in cash on a table, and those with a credit balance remove their balance from the table, the table will be empty again in the end and everything will be paid in full.

No need to search for circles. The graph and the matrix are the same, but different. The graph shows paths but no totals (Debit Credit). The Matrix shows no paths, but the totals and balances.

The graph for open payments is the same as the one with deliveries. Only the arrows are reversed.

Ref: Societary Circulation. Simon Newcomb (1885): "Principles of political economy", page 318.

A system of payment after clearing in the hands of the civil society, not in the backstores of banks. Not Money, but payment bottom up. As Stephen Colwell put it 1859: "The ways and means of payment a full analysis of the credit system, with its various modes of adjustment"

Not literally but short "Its payment, not money you fools")

If You are interested, I have collected more helping perspectives on "money".

Thank you Florian, yes, please - i’m definitely curious about more sources. I will always read them from the question of how can we overcome the idea of money altogether? :)
